Number 1 among Swiss dancers since many years, Jang Widler is the one who’s developed the West Coast Swing in Geneva where he’s taught since 2008, and he’s nowadays a master in West Coast Swing teaching.

Such a technician and an unrivalled pedagogue ...

It’s thanks to a nearly one year stay in the USA (2010-2011) that Jang has had the good luck to perfect his technic and to polish his teaching. He has closely worked with some of the best teachers in the world: Brandi Tobias, Michael Kiehm, Michael Kielbasa, Dawne Kiehm amongst others.

Starting with martial arts and ex salsa champion, Jang has known how to combine all these experiences in order to develop his own technic and his view of teaching.

Today, thanks to his particular West Coast Swing approach, captivating by its precision, its obviousness and its efficiency, and by his ability to analyse and to break down movements, Jang has become an exceptional teacher, very popular in Switzerland, Europe and in the USA. Besides, it’s with Brandi Tobias and Michael Kiehm support that he went into teachers’ training in Europe, in 2011.

From now on, he is the professor of around forty teachers in Switzerland and in France (www.wcs-masterclass.fr), and of a great team regularly seen on several international events podiums, known as being splendid dancers.

An unbelievable dancer ...

Jang’s started dancing in international conventions and he’s taken a part in a lot of dance competitions, especially in the USA, in which he’s met with a real great success. Today, apart from his excellent teaching skills, he’s known as being a passionate and devoted dancer, who enhances his dance-partner. It makes himself one of the best and most beloved dancers in social dance.
